Easy Beer Bread Recipe

Easy Beer Bread

This beer bread recipe is so easy that I am almost embarrassed!

But then again I’m not embarrassed because ain’t nobody got time for complicated baking or regular bread.

This Beer bread is known as a quick bread. This means no yeast, no waiting and no rising! This beer bread recipe will take you 15 minutes to whip together and an hour to bake.

Wooo hooo!

I added a couple of fillings, chorizo and cheddar, but you can add most anything you like to compliment the beer you use!

Beer choice is key! Here is an idea for fillings according to beer style.

IPA’s will pair well with strong cheeses, citrus flavors, chicken.
Wheat beers work well with mild cheeses, chicken, pork, sausage, honey and berries.
Porters/ Stouts will pair well with chocolate, berries, beef, sausage and molassas.

But I’m scared, I never made bread before!

I know exactly how you feel, before this I was also a bread virgin.

like a virgin

But like I said it’s a quick bread, no chemistry degree required! No fuss and no rising to the occasion. I assure you this will be painless and kinda sexy!

Impress your friends with your newly found baking skills!

One word of caution!

You MUST spoon your flour into the measuring cup! Your usual dunk and level technique will produce a very dense and very hard bread. I know this because I made this terrible error myself.

Spooning is good, Dunking is bad!!

  1. It’s says to add honey, but I didn’t see any measurements up top. Going to make this recipe this weeks!

    1. I actually omitted honey from this recipe and I realized now that I forgot to take it off the instructions. Sorry about that and thanks so much for the heads up!!
